The same day at 5pm young people will have the opportunity to share the love for reading thanks to the Youth Reading Club also in Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center. Registration is not required, but whoever signs up always repeats. If you are with your family here, perhaps it is a great opportunity. On Saturday 14th there is the Storyteller and Christmas Workshop based on Tolkien’s work ‘Letters to Santa Claus’. From 11.30 am, children can create their own 3D congratulations card. And before, at 10.30 am in the Association of Neighbors Cantarranas, very close to Plaza de Toros, on Los Romeros Street, you can enjoy family intellectual and educational traditional games.
Sport and Tradition on the first days of Christmas
The sport will also be the protagonist of the Christmas programme with the celebration of several sports events, so if you are a sport lover, you will enjoy a lot. From 10 pm on Saturday 14th will take place the XXII Indoor Triathlon City of Torremolinos, the oldest indoor triathlon in Spain, so do not hesitate to register here and train well before. If you prefer other sports, you may want to go to the XXX Judo Christmas Trophy , in San Miguel Palace. From 10 o’clock on Saturday 14th too. But something you cannot miss is the traditions marked by music, which make you feel the unión of these days thanks to the passion and pastoral rhythm. If you have never been to a pastoral meeting, we recommend to go to Caseta de Aguas on Saturday 14th at 6 pm. It is certainly an event to see.
