Magical route from the Cuesta del Tajo to the Casa de Los Navajas
In Torremolinos you will find multiple corners to take pictures with your partner . We recommend you a very special place, for its illumination at night and its history. «La Torre de Pimentel» a tower that dates back to the 13th century, the Nasrid period, and gives its name to the city of Torremolinos. Located between Calle San Miguel and Cuesta del Tajo, where you can find souvenirs and do some shopping in one of the many shops along the way. If you continue walking, you will reach the sea and the Bajodillo beach.
Do you know La Casa de los Navajas? It’s another unique corner of Torremolinos that deserves a photo, even if it is only from the outside. A neo- Mudejar style palace from 1925 with an impressive facade, decorated with tiles that inspired our «origin of paradise» campaign. Want a perfect romantic plan for Valentine´s day? Come and watch the sunrise in Torremolinos. Thanks to its good climate, with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, Torremolinos is the ideal paradise to enjoy spectacular sunrise at any of its beaches. All of them carry the distinction «Q for tourist quality» Don´t tell me this isn´t a perfect romantic plan!
You can walk along the beaches of Torremolinos from Los Álamos to Playamar beach and to the Carihuela beach, if you want to take a breath of seaside atmosphere at one of our most traditional areas in our city. In addition, Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner, Orson Welles or Frank Sinatra were enchanted by its sand in the 50s and 60s.
Right in the middle, between both beaches, you will find «La Punta» or the «Morro de Torremolinos», natural monument that divides our promenade and one of the best places to enjoy the sunset. On the other side you will find the Bajondillo beach, which you can easily reach on foot from the center of Torremolinos.
End the evening with a delicious cocktail in one of the beach bars you will find on your way from Los Álamos beach to La Carihuela, ideal for Valentine’s Day. The sound of the sea and the views make this area a perfect place to enjoy a lovely date.
A romantic walk in nature with the best views
In Torremolinos we have our own special park, where you can get carried away by romance, take a walk by a large lake, enjoy its beautiful gardens and one of the best views of the city. We are talking about «El Parque de la Batería» (The Battery Park). Located north of La Carihuela, next to the Montemar Alto train stop, it covers more than 74,000 square meters.
