How to get to Torremolinos

By land, sea and air, Torremolinos is one of the places with the best access and easy ways of transport along the Costa del Sol. Beeing only five kilometers away from Málaga airport, Torremolinos is the perfect destination for your holidays. As you might know, Málaga has become in recent years one of the cities with more direct connections, so wherever you are, it is easy to reach.

How to get from the airport to Torremolinos? There are different means of transport but perhaps the fastest is the train. From La Nogalera station, located in the city center, to the airport, it takes only fifteen minutes.

A perfect way to move around is the Renfe Cercanias train, also to visit Malaga and get to know the capital. It´s a frequent train with five stops in Torremolinos, which allows you to reach multiple destinations in a few minutes. You will find stops at Los Alamos, La Colina, La Nogalera, El Pinillo and close to the Montemar-Alto stop you can visit Parque de la Batería, one of the most recommended corners of Torremolinos. If you come with children we assure you they will love this park.

If you are here for a few days, another perfect option is to take the suburban train to María Zambrano station in Málaga.

If you prefer the bus, Torremolinos offers a wide network of buses to connect all areas of the city and with other municipalities, such as Marbella, Mijas, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Ronda, Nerja and Antequera. You can visit them during the morning or afternoon and return to enjoy “espetos” at any of our beach bars. If you prefer not to depend on bus and train schedules, take a taxi or rent a car.
