It is the view of the Castillo del Inglés or Castillo del Vigía, one of the first hotels on the Costa del Sol, which is also known as the Hotel Castillo de Santa Clara. There, in the XVII century, a defensive battery was located and at the end of the XIX and beginning of the XX, the defensive complex was acquired by the English soldier, George Langworthy, reconverting it into a residence and later into a hotel.

Plaza Cantabria

At only 20 minutes walking, you will find our second stop where you can enjoy one of the best panoramic views not only of Torremolinos but of our neighbor, Benalmádena. From the viewpoint located in Cantabria Square, you will see La Punta de Torremolinos or El Morro, one of our most characteristic natural corners that makes a natural division between the beaches of La Carihuela and El Bajondillo. In fact, El Morro natural viewpoint served as a solution to avoid vulnerability by sea of the area, which usually suffered from attacks by pirates and invaders.

Next to the cemetery of Torremolinos, in the area of Bajondillo, you find one of the most valued points by our visitors. In fact among all these viewpoints you will find many of the corners that you do or have to visit when you come as Torre Pimentel or Casa de los Navajas, where inside we find the next lookout point to highlight.

Navajas House

The street of Las Mercedes will take you to one of the most emblematic buildings of Torremolinos, La Casa de los Navajas (link to post blog Casa de los Navajas). This old palace which datesfrom 1925 keeps inside on the second floor, one of the best views with a viewpoint  between two towers, it is a perfect place to immortalize your visit to Torremolinos with some beautiful photographs with the Mediterranean Sea as background.

You can enter free of charge from 11 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm and be amazed by this Neomudéjar-style building built by the Navajas family and which now besides Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center is the epicenter of our city’s cultural activities.
