Torremolinos has 4 main beaches, although within them you can find different areas for your plans. La Carihuela beach, where tradition and gastronomy meet
Between thela Punta de Torremolinos o el Morro, one of the most spectacular natural monuments on the Costa del Sol where you can see the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the border with Benalmádena, you will find the beach of La Carihuela. Tradition and gastronomy come together in the more than 2 kilometers of coastline, where you can rest after a good morning sunbathing on the beach to enjoy a good espeto or a nice portion of fried fish at one of the manybeach barsthat you can find there. And so it is, La Carihuela is the most maritime district of Torremolinos and also the one that preserves the essence of our city in its streets.

Bajondillo beach, the closest to the center of Torremolinos

Playamar, one kilometer of pure maritime leisure activities
Playamar beach is one of the busiest in Torremolinos, not only for residents and tourists, but also for residents of the capital of Malaga who come to our beach to enjoy the many leisure areas.
Do you like to walk on the beach? Then you are in the perfect place, because on this beach you will find the perfect space to take a beautiful walk while stepping on the sand to cool off at the water’s edge. But if you just want to rest, you can do that in Playamar too. Rent a hammock and enjoy the sun of Torremolinos. Los Álamos beach, on the border with Málaga, ideal for all ages
Sticking with Malaga, at the edge of Torremolinos, we find the beach of Los Álamos, a perfect beach for those looking for a «Chill out» environment, young and full of entertainment. In the afternoon there are also concerts on the terraces in many of the beach clubs and with a cozy and healthy atmosphere, and don’t forget the sunset!
With a length of more than a mile, it is one of the favorite corners of the residents of Torremolinos thanks to its fine sand. The most traditional beach bars, los chiringuitos, meet the most modern beach clubs. Feel free to enjoy both, as they both offer you different experiences.

Safe and adapted beaches
Every year the Beach Plan ensures the safety of bathers and tourists who come to enjoy our coasts. Before bathing, check the color of the flags, if it is red or yellow you should avoid bathing and above all, if in doubt, ask our lifeguards . They are there to help you.
Once more Torremolinos makes it easy for everyone to enjoy swimming in the summer. That is why all beaches have an area adapted for people with reduced mobility. In these areas you will find walkways to the sea, driveways, pergolas, parking spaces and adapted toilets. In addition, the rescue service has amphibious chairs, a hydraulic crane and an amphibious crutch set, so that users with walking difficulties can also enjoy a day at the beach.
During the Easter week, lifeguards and bathing assistance are available. From Easter Sunday to 1st of June, on weekends only and from 1st of June to the 30th of September, this service is available daily.

You will find the adapted areas in La Carihuela Beach, between the Chiringuito Remo Beach and the Chiringuito Beach ClubTropicana. In El Bajondillo, between Los Corales Chiringuito and La Paella Restaurant. In Playamar between the Sal Marina Restaurant and Casa Paco and in Los Álamos, between the Nuevo Familiar Restaurant and La Moraga.
